An ethical company, selling sustainable food supplement products made from the Brosimum alicastrum tree native to Central and South America.

Berba, ramón, ojoche, ojite, ojushte, ujushte, ujuxte, capomo, mojo, ox, iximche, masica, uje, mojote, chokogou … the ground, dried seed of the wild-harvested fruit of the Brosimum alicastrum tree has many names. Native to Central and South America, indigenous inhabitants in these regions have historically consumed this as both a food staple and to encourage maternal health, particularly to stimulate lactation.
Naturally high in fiber, calcium, potassium, folate, iron, zinc, protein, and vitamins A, B, C, and E, this product includes nutrients important to maternal health, whether trying-to-conceive (TTC), prenatal, or postpartum. It is also naturally gluten-free, nut-allergy safe, caffeine-free, and low-glycemic index.
In powder form, its flavor combines the subtle bitterness of coffee with the earthy richness of chocolate. It is delicious on its own, added to hot or cold water, or can be added to any beverage from smoothies to hot chocolate. It makes a wonderful gluten-free flour substitute for baking, and can be added as a topping to salad dressing, or as ice cream topping.
This product is sustainably and ethically harvested from forests in Central and South America in collaboration with indigenous communities in those areas. More information can be found through the Rainforest Alliance and Wikipedia.
